The highest Median Home Value is in Hawaii ($839,100), District of Columbia ($737,100) and California ($734,700); the lowest is in West Virginia ($162,600), Mississippi ($169,800) and Arkansas ($188,000). The median state has $303,300 for Median Home Value and 97.1 for Price Level.
The biggest exceptions sit furthest from the trend line. Hawaii, District of Columbia and California have a much higher Median Home Value than their Price Level would predict, while Illinois, New York and New Jersey have a much lower one.
